Introduction
The COIL programme ‘COIL Challenge: Design Greater Gender Equality in Japan and Norway’ is collaboratively conducted by Ochanomizu University and the Center for Gender Research at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). In the programme, Ochanomizu students can learn about gender in an international collaborative setting by doing group work with the MA students of NTNU. We are looking forward to your participation in the programme. The outline of the programme and how to apply for it are as follows.
Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is a new online education
method that allows faculty and students to be connected globally with institutions
abroad while being on their home campuses. Expected learning outcomes are
communication proficiency in English, cross-cultural understanding, problem-solving
ability and IT skills, through the exchange with students and professors
with different cultural backgrounds. The information about COIL at Ochanomizu
University in the past can be found on the university website.

will be provided).
