Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is a new online education method that allows faculty and students to be connected globally with institutions abroad while being on their home campuses.

UTFORSK Project conducts COIL in the Fall Semester. It is an intensive course in October and November that provides students of NTNU and Ochanomizu University an opportunity to collaboratively examine and discuss gender issues from international perspectives.
