Norway-Japan: Bridging Research and Education in Gender Equality and Diversity (NJ_BREGED) is a three-year research and teaching collaboration between the Center for Gender Research (CGR) at the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the Institute for Gender Studies (IGS) at Ochanomizu University in the fields of gender equality and diversity. This project is funded by International Partnerships for Excellent Education, Research, and Innovation（INTPART） programme of the Research Council of Norway.

This project aims to promote the international exchange of researchers and students to conduct international comparative research projects and publish research outcomes as an anthology of chapters co-authored by researchers of both institutions.
